December 2020: Schütz Christmas Story
Born out of a desire to provide work for musicians in the baron music landscape of December 2020, in association with Barbara Hannigan’s Equilibrium Young Artists and HarrisonParrot’s virtual circle, The Assembled Company produced a streamed performance of Schütz Christmas Story.
The project united both period and modern instrument players alongside some of the most versatile star young singers many of whom have recently performed with ensembles and orchestras including the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Academy of Ancient Music, Solomon’s Knot, BBC Symphony orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra as well as period chamber groups including the Consone Quartet and Palisander.
